ROCK IT! YEAH! SATELITTE OF LOVE!

HELLO HOMIES! Here's another weekend of fun fricking fun dammit! PAY ATTENTION

ON FRIDAY! WE'VE GOT....

Rock’It ‘08!!!


...the first rock festival of its kind organised by the NTU Live Music Society on the 19th of February on NTU’s own campus grounds, was seemingly a surprise success. 0ver 20 bands auditioned for the 9 slots, showcasing talents like King Kong Jane, Blackstar, Stentorian, Brown Shoe Electric and s.p.o.n.g.e. HomeClub, together with partners Asahi were brought in to provide the drinks needed to get the crowd going, and it is this same partnership that’s going to bring the Rock’It ’08 Encore Party to you guys. After witnessing the bands on display during Rock’It ’08, HomeClub was kind enough to invite the organisers to stage an encore party in its own premises, with the bands King Kong Jane, Brown Shoe Electric and s.p.o.n.g.e set to rock the crowd one more time. So come on down to HomeClub on the 21 of March, and treat yourselves to a sonic feast!

Time: 9pm – 11.30pm

Junk Magazine described the night in one sentence: “Jiving crew from Thailand taught KL how to party!”.

Ever since this trio first joined forces in 2007 to open for Arrested Development, they have been battering the dancefloors taking inspiration from a diverse list of artistes. You name it, if they feel it’s mad enough, they might just drop it, when you least expect it!

If you thought all Kable & Castro (DUBWISE) could serve up was a mean selection of Reggae & Dub think again. This unstoppable duo of mayhem have come a long way since their initial introduction as Drum & Bass DJs, and they have not looked back ever since.

Inquisitive may be young but he is no new kid on the block. Two time DMC Singapore Champion for 2006 & 2007. He has battled with the top turntablists in the world and has come in top tier! With mad skills and flow expect this showman to bring turntablism to the next level. It’s not all about Hip Hop yo!
